Dinner with Friends
Is anyone interested in doing a progressive dinner with me? I am thinking about a date in November, if it isn?t already booked. My thoughts are that it would be easier to do 3 locations: 1- Appetizers 2- Entr?e 3- Dessert. That would give us more space for the food and the people. I want to do a heavy soup, like potato, and a beef stew. I live at 528 Woods. Barbara Delaney 344-4509 |

Barbara,
I've been mulling around the idea of combining a safety walk with a progressive dinner. If you're up participating in that effort, I'll keep working at it. I was thinking sometime mid-September. ~Josh |

I love the idea of a progressive dinner... There have been several people ask about this very topic since the onset of the "food with friends"....
I also like the idea of combining it with a safety walk type event... Not necessarily call it a safety walk but participants keep their eyes open while going from one home to the next... Great ideas !! |

I am open for any approach except for timing. My Mom is moving in the end of August. I am afraid that November is my earliest date. December is shot! January, February, March are open!
Please let me know about a good month to plan a progressive dinner for "Food for Friends", sorry I misnamed it! A good walk is great for the appetite! Then, I need 2 other hosts to participate with me. I think this might be a good opportunity for folks who don't have gigantic homes to get in on the party!! If we stagger times and locations, no one will be inundated. Thanks, Barbara Delaney 344-4509 |
