OUR NEIGHBORHOOD - Home Of The Month Program
In Old Southwest we enjoy recognizing the efforts neighbors make to better their home and their neighborhood. We celebrate restoration, responsible maintenance, and sensitivity to the historic qualities that make Old Southwest unique. Recipients of our Home of the Month award may be recognized for a number of reasons which may include landscaping/gardening achievements, historic restoration projects, quality painting work, a combination of all of these or any number of other property improvements that prompt nomination from neighbors. The person responsible for the efforts noted in nomination (whether that be an owner occupant, rental property investor or tenant) is given a letter of thanks, a certificate and a $25 gift certificate to Wildflour Market and Bakery located at 1212 4th St SW. To nominate a home and neighbor that you feel promotes the mission of Old Southwest through their work in maintaining or improving their home, email detail of your nomination to homeofthemonth@oldsouthwestinc.com.
